This magnificent urn is made of Shenandoah Quartz which is quarried in the Shenandoah Valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains between Pennsylvania and Georgia. The stone has a rich green base with intricate white fern patterns running throughout. While the top is highly polished, the natural roughness is retained in the irregular shaped and rugged edges. The base is sheet bronze which has been lacquer coated with a satin finish and measures 9 x 8 inches with a walnut base. An unengraved plate is included and the urn is also available in keepsake size (see front and Keepsake Urns).
