This exquisite urn originates from the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range of the American West. Formed by the steady trickle of mineral deposits over 400 years, Sierra Stone is a unique combination of rust, black, silver and blue. The base is made of sheet bronze, lacquer coated and satin finished and measuring 9 x 8 inches with a walnut base. The Sierra top is 1-1/2 to 2 inches thick by approximately 10 inches. While the top is highly polished, the natural roughness is retained in the irregular shape and rugged edge. An unengraved brass plate is included. The urn is also available in keepsake size (see front and Keepsake Urns).
