This exquisite White Pearl Quartz is mined in the Diamond Lakes region near Hot Springs, Arkansas. This beautiful stone, which comes from milky, glasslike volcanic lava, was formed over a period of 400 years by the intense action of heat and pressure many miles below the surface of the earth. The White Pearl Quartz is available in limited quantities making it quite rare. The top, 1-1/2 to 2 inches thick by approximately 10 inches, is polished to a glasslike finish and the natural roughness is retained in the irregular shape and rugged edges. The base, measuring 9 x 8 inches, is crafted of sheet bronze, lacquer coated and satin finished. An unengraved brass plate is included and the urn is also available in keepsake size (see front and Keepsake Urns).
