About the Artist - Stephen Canneto
Stephen Canneto is recognized across the world for his sculptures. His first memorial was designed in Israel in 1967 and was in honor of the victims of the Six Day War. Inspired by his life experiences, Canneto brings those interpretations to life in his art. His work incorporates the beauty and inspiration of the environment with which the pieces occupy but also strives to create a personal connection and impact with the community. Canneto has collections in several countries as well as works for corporations, residences and inspirational public spaces. Canneto has received several awards for his work including the American Institute of Landscape Architects Honor Award and the State of Ohio Gold Star Award. His work has been featured in the Smithsonian and he is also the Founding Director of ArtSafe, a not-for-profit organization established to provide opportunities for communities to use the arts to create a safe and nurturing environment for children and adults. Canneto eventually turned his artistic talent to cremation urns. His urns capture the spirit of the individual and the human connection that allows for family to remember those they have lost with a beautiful piece of artwork. Canneto currently resides in Columbus, Ohio, and continues to create an exclusive collection of cremation urns that incorporate themes from nature and human interaction.
PRODUCT DETAILS
The beauty of the Infinity Bronze Marine Corps cremation urn is breathtaking and makes for an apt and personal resting place of the deceased. Crafted of cold cast bronze finish, the resin Infinity Bronze Marine Corps memorial urn has the Marine Corps medallion set into the front of the urn and slightly recessed. The cylinder urn likens itself to nature and the tree trunk appearance is accented by ribbons at the top. The ribbons symbolize the devotion we share eternally and they surround a small candle that can be lit in remembrance. A stunning representation of honor and commitment, each urn is dated, signed and then copyrighted by the artist. Size 10 3/4"h x 6"d
